Hi, I am Mallory and I'm a local Charlotte, NC photographer.

All my friends and family call me Mally and I know we will become fast friends during our session so feel free to call me Mally! I have always been the "picture taker" wherever I go because I don't want to miss out on capturing any memories and freezing time. Photographs have the incredible ability to transport us back in time, to help us remember an exact moment, the sights and smells that surrounded us. The feelings we experienced in that moment and allow us to relive them again.

As a little girl, I watched my grandparents carry a camera around with them anticipating moments they wanted to save, and I learned that photographs tell a story of your life and loved ones. For me, I got started with a little Crayola film camera I was gifted when I was a little girl. Growing up, I had various types of cameras including film cameras, a Polaroid, point and shoot digital cameras, and now my DSLR cameras. I finally took a Photography class in college and fell in love with black and white film photography. Since then, I've learned so much and taken thousands of photos. I am still learning which is why I've started Mally Blair Photography and taking a leap and following my passion to focus on portrait photography. Will you join me on my journey?
